I got into running in 2007, when I started to help kill time while working away for long periods; after running my first races at the end of 2011 I was firmly hooked.
Since then running has remained one of the most consistent parts of my life. I would go as far as to say it has even changed my life, especially once I joined a running club in 2012 (the Devon-based South Molton Strugglers). I also run occasionally for the Ryde Harriers, (my sister’s club), on the Isle of Wight.
In 2014 I went vegan and since then my interest in health and fitness has really peaked! This blog is where I want to put my thoughts on these subjects, based around the central theme of my personal running experience.
We can learn a lot from running no matter where in our personal journeys.
